    Premenstrual Syndrome, also called Premenstrual Tension or PMT, is a condition seen by many women before menstruation. The symptoms can be varied, from digestive problems to urinary issues, as well as generalized manifestations like fatigue, lassitude, and weakness. In some cases, migraines or epilepsy attacks have also been reported. The symptoms can be very common, but they are often distressing. It is important to solve it as soon as possible.

    Food recommendations for PMS that can help

    Recommended Foods

    Food should be fresh, cool, and uncooked. Foods should have a sweet, bitter, and astringent taste, such as Rice, Sweet potatoes; Plums, Peaches, Grapes, Water Melons, Oranges; Carrots, Beetroots; Milk, Butter, Whole Wheat Bread, Basil, Peppermint, Fennel, etc.

    Bitter herbs and vegetables such as rhubarb (or bitter melon), gentian roots, fenugreek root, Dandelion Root, Lettuce, or Spinach.

    – Foods that are astringent, such as pomegranate fruit, broccoli, cabbage, beans, parsley, basil, etc.
